About us Inquia Rescon, brings together a group of social researchers intending to address the need for research-based decision-making for small to medium size organisations. It is also the research arm of iFactor, a non-governmental organisation. Our founder, Dr. Gandharva Hemant Pednekar holds a Ph.D and M.Phil in Development Studies and postgraduate degrees in Geography, Population Studies and Development Administration. He has also been associated with TISS since 2007 as a research staff member. He has worked with several corporations, PSUs, and government agencies in the last 15 years on various developmental areas. He is/was involved in teaching courses on ‘CSR and Development’, ‘Project Management and Evaluation Methodologies’ at the Tata Institute of Social Sciences and ‘Crisis Intervention and Disaster Management’ at Amity University. His recent significant projects include the Aspirational Chatra project, under which the District Development Plan for the aspirational district of Chatra, Jharkhand was prepared, the SUNRISE project funded by UKRI-GCRF and in collaboration with Swansea University, UK, under which a stand-alone solar power building was constructed in a remote tribal village in Maharashtra. He is a member of the Board of Studies, Ramniranjan Jhunjhunwala College, Ghatkopar and Chetna College, Bandra, for the subjects of Geography and Environmental Studies. He is also associated with Yusuf Meherally Centre, Utkarsh Sanstha and The Family Welfare Agency as a social research consultant.
